Goodbye, Huntersville, we will miss you all
by Staff Writer
We have three children, CJ, Dawkins, and Ella. Ella will be 2 in April, she was born at the Presbyterian Hospital here in Huntersville. We absolutely love that hospital and its entire staff. Dawkins is 7 and attends Huntersville Elementary with his big sister CJ, who is 8. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the teachers, staff, principal, and vice principal at Huntersville Elementary. Prior to entering elementary school, our children went to Ramah Church Preschool. The atmosphere there is like no other. We live in NorthStone and have been here since we moved from Georgia.
Our neighbors are terrific and supportive. We just adore them. CJ has played recreation softball here in Huntersville for the past three years and we love our softball family so much. We even love our favorite Mexican restaurant, La Unica.
There are not enough words to explain how pleased and thankful we have been here in Huntersville. We are so glad that our family had the experience of living here. We wish there was time and that we were able to tell everyone goodbye and thank you, but our move to New Jersey will be here so soon. We just wanted to tell everyone here “thank you for accepting us and being so kind to our children.” We feel so blessed.
I read this saying and just love it; Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you until we meet again.
