CORNELIUS – All are invited to a free, multigenerational literary event Jan. 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Warehouse Performing Arts Center.

Five authors from a variety of backgrounds will read aloud from selected works. The program is appropriate for children and adults who enjoy reading.

Sydney Campanella and Lauren-Kate Stewart, 11, will focus on their recently published mystery and fantasy novels. Mark Kenna, a student at Appalachian State University and poetry editor of its literary magazine, The Peel, will read a selection of poetry. Young adult author, Lisa Williams Kline, will read from her popular series, Sisters in All Seasons, published by Zondervan. Tom Perkins, a poet and memoirist, will present his work.

There will be a discussion after the reading where audience members may ask questions. The event is sponsored by Charlotte Writers’ Club North and The Warehouse Performing Arts Center. The Warehouse is located at 9216-A Westmoreland Rd.
