CORNELIUS - Lake Norman High shocked Hough in a 3-2 girls soccer victory Thursday night.

Hough's state-record 32-game winning streak was snapped. Lake Norman improved to 11-0 overall and 6-0 in the I-MECK 4A conference.
Kendall Fischlein, Amanda Karlsson and Justine Lockman scored for Lake Norman, which took the conference lead.
Hough, the reigning Class 4A state champion, was ranked first and fourth in two national polls. 
Courtney Crump and Emmily Cowie scored goals for the Huskies, who slipped to 7-1 overall and 5-1 in the conference.
