Impact Plus Uniforms, a Cornelius-based uniform and apparel company, donated $2,000 worth of business attire – dress shirts, pants and jackets – to the Men’s Shelter of Charlotte on April 9.
The clothes will be used by men from the shelter to wear to work or to job interviews.
Impact Plus spokesperson Matt Rowell said the donations included brands like Cutter and Buck, Port Authority and Dickies.
“We feel like anytime we can help the community, it’s something we’re going to try to do,” Rowell said.
Shelter Development Officer Gretchen Oakley said the clothes are a big help.
“There’s limited resources for business clothing, so this was an important donation,” she said.
