HUNTERSVILLE – Village Paws and Claws has returned to Huntersville.

The second branch of the pet supply store, which recently opened at 14229 Reese Blvd. W., focuses on offering premium and holistic foods and products for dogs and cats in an upbeat environment that fostered community involvement.

It originally opened in Birkdale Village, but moved to Mooresville in the economic downturn.

Former manager Rick Rogowski bought the company and partnered with new co-owners Scott and Kristle Wildman, who will run the Huntersville store.

Village Paws and Claws will hold a grand opening from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. April 20, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10. Enjoy food, drinks, giveaways and deals during the event.
