CORNELIUS – Detectives with the Cornelius Police Department and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools arrested Riley Bowlin, a caucasian male student, at 1:30pm April 24 at William A. Hough High School in connection with the bomb threat on April 2.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police received a 911 call from Bowlin in reference to a bomb threat at William A. Hough High School in Cornelius.
The school was evacuated and there was no device found during the search.
Bowlin has been charged with one felony count of making a false bomb report and is being transported to the Mecklenburg County Jail.
