HUNTERSVILLE – Funeral services for Vilayvanh Phengysasy Inthisone, 35, will be held at 8 a.m. April 27 at James Funeral Home.

She died April 22 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House.

Inthisone was born July 9, 1980, in Luanprabang, Laos.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lae Phothitay.

Survivors include her mother Savivanh Phothitay; sons, Tipasone, Jitakone, Derek, Tiger and Dragon; siblings, Khempheth, Konesavanh, Khanthaly Lee, Philakone and Rambo.

Geraldine S. DeKeyser

HUNTERSVILLE – Funeral services for Geraldine S. DeKeyser, 67, were held April 18, 2013, at Christ Community Church.

She died April 14 at Carolinas Medical Center.

DeKeyser was born Oct. 12, 1945, to the late John Paul and Mary Hazel Sexton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.

Survivors include her sons, Aaron of Huntersville and Brian and wife, Lisa, of Denver; siblings, Jean Poe, Jack and John Paul Sexton Jr.

Daniel Edward McConnell

DAVIDSON – Funeral services for Daniel Edward McConnell, 57, were held April 19, 2013, at Northlake Memorial Gardens.

McConnell was born Aug. 15, 1955, in Charlotte, to Emma McConnell Rinehart of Maggie Valley.

He worked in the construction business.

McConnell was preceded in death by his grandmother, Leslie McAlister; sister, Debbie Erwin; and grandson, Alexander McConnell.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Shelton McConnell of Charlotte; brother, Dewey McConnell of Maggie Valley; sister, Ida Coleen Gaye of Conway, S.C.; daughter, Taghen McConnell of Davidson; granddaughter, Brittney Nichole McConnell; grandson, Nathaniel Edward McConnell; three nieces; and two nephews.

Lois DuBois

HUNTERSVILLE – Funeral services for Lois DuBois, 101, were held April 16, 2013, at St. Mark Catholic Church.       

She died April 14.

DuBois was born Nov. 8, 1911, to Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Smith.

She was a teacher in Columbus, Ohio, as well as the secretary and treasurer of Spectrochemical Laboratories in Pittsburgh, Penn.

DuBois was preceded in death by her brothers, Warren and Paul Smith; and husband, E.M. DuBois.

Survivors include son, Steven and wife, Andee, of State College, Penn.; daughters, Marjorie Hunter and husband, W. James of Pittsburgh, Penn., and Ellen Ason and husband, John of Huntersville; grandchildren, Steven, Christine, Stacey, Jeffrey, Wyatt and Alexis; and seven great-grandchilren.
