HUNTERSVILLE – Thousands of plastic eggs disappeared in seconds as children scooped them up during Rural Hill’s 4th Annual Community Egg Hunt on March 30.

The two egg hunts, one for children 4 and younger and another for those 5 and older, saw about 600 children search for 5,000 plastic eggs.

Children could turn their eggs in for candy. Some eggs had larger prizes in them.

There was also face painting, hayrides, bounce houses and games for families to partake in. The Easter bunny was also in attendance to take photos with children.
