Denver resident and SouthLake Christian Academy senior Hannah Rhyne performs as Ivory Layne at her "Volume One" EP release party May 10 at the Cornelius Theatre.

Layne performed for two sold-out crowds. She describes her music as "quirky" and "different" as she blends together thoughtful lyrics of the folk-music genre with the melodies of pop music.

"Volume One" consists of five songs Layne wrote and co-produced with Franklin, Tenn.-based music producer Ed Cash. She plans to release "Volume Two" later this year.

Her album is available on iTunes and CDbaby.com. Her website is www.ivorylaynemusic.com. More than 4,800 people are following her on Twitter, @ivorylayne.
