DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Matt Kenseth won the Subway Firecracker 250 on July 5 at Daytona International Speedway.
Kenseth, 41, of Mooresville, led 16 of the 101 laps to collect his first NASCAR Nationwide Series race of the season. The Joe Gibbs Racing drivers didn’t earn any points since he competes in the Sprint Cup Series.
Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Elliott Sadler came in third and Brian Vickers finished 13th.
Regan Smith leads the series standings with 558 points. He’s followed by Sadler in third (544) and Vickers in seventh (505).
