Robert Lee Osborn

HUNTERSVILLE – Robert Lee Osborn, died Jan. 15, 2014, at Levine and Dickson Hospice House.

He was born June 7, 1927, in Franklin County, Ohio, to the late Harry Lee Osborn and Clara Margaret Taylor Osborn.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Blandine Osborn; son, Mark Osborn and wife, Jamie of Huntersville; daughter; Peggy Key Barnette and husband, Allen of Cornelius; sister, Betty Rose and husband, Clayton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Jan. 18 at Lake Norman Baptist Church.

Thomas Franklin Richards Jr.

MOORESVILLE – Thomas Franklin Richards Jr., 77, died Jan. 15, 2014, at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House.

He was born March 3, 1936, in Charlotte, to the late Thomas and Bessy Richards.

Richards retired from Superba Print Works.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Cooper Richards; daughters, Amber Church and husband, David, Mildred Autry and husband, Russell, and Barbara Treadway and husband, Scott; brother, Marvin Richard; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

John Everrett Plumley

MOORESVILLE – John Everrett Plumley, 70, died Jan. 14, 2014, at the Gordon Hospice House.

He was born April 6, 1943, in Atlanta, Mich., to the late John Robert and Anne Sumerix Plumley.

Plumley was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Walmart.

Survivors include his wife, Norma McKnight Plumley; son, Thomas Plumley and wife, Mary; daughters, Michelle Miller and Annie Taylor and husband, Adam.

Tony Eugene Miller

MOORESVILLE – Tony Eugene Miller, 66, died Jan. 13, 2014, at the Serenity House.

He was born Dec. 16, 1947, in Mooresville, to the late Eugene and Maxine Abernathy.

Miller was co-owner and operator of Whit Miller Shoe Store in Mooresville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Brooks Miller.
Survivors include his sister, Jerri Miller Philemon and husband, Randy; and brother, David Miller and wife, Audrey.

MOORESVILLE – Rebecca Escarilla Noblezada, 78, died Jan. 13, 2014, at her home.

She was born Jan. 2, 1936, in the Philippines, to the late Thomas and Concepcion Escarilla Noblezada.

Noblezada worked for Ross Dress for Less.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Noblezada and wife, Miya; sisters, Ruth Sombito, Rachel Valenzuela and husband, Generoso, and Jessica Gorospe and husband, Benjamin; brothers, Antonio Noblezada and wife, Lydia, and Ephraim Noblezada and wife, Josefina; and six grandchildren,

Hubert Alexander Maddry Jr.

HUNTERSVILLE – The Rev. Hubert Alexander Maddry Jr., died Jan.11, 2014, at Novant Health-Charlotte.

He was born Oct. 7, 1940, in Durham, to the late Hubert and Mary Louise Shields Maddry.

Maddry served as a chaplain in the Department of Veterans Affairs in Hampton, Va., for 36 years.

Survivors include his wife, Janet T. Maddry; sons, Paul Maddry and wife, Kristen, and Mark Maddry; daughters Rebekah Baker of Huntersville, and Sarai Austin; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Jan. 16 at Huntersville United Methodist Church.
