DAVIDSON – Davidson Community Players’ The Connie Company in collaboration with Community School of Davidson invites children and families to the production of the classic fairy tale “Cinderella.”

The tale has been adapted and interpreted by the late Rupert Barber Jr., theater professor at Davidson College. 

“This production is a tradition with Davidson Community Players’ Connie Company,” said Matt Merrell, executive director of Davidson Community Players. “Rupert Barber is a beloved founder of DCP and it is an honor to bring his wonderful vision of this classic tale to the stage for the community.”

Melissa Ohlman-Roberge directs the play.

Cinderella will be performed 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31 and 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Community School of Davidson High School’s Art Space Theatre; 404 Armour St.
