HUNTERSVILLE – Four business units of Max Daetwyler Corporation have been approved for ISO 9001:2008 Certification.
The business units certified include Daetwyler Pressroom Products, Daetwyler Industries, Micro Waterjet, and Daetwyler Clean Energy.

Grogan launches Vistage group
SAN DIEGO, Ca. – Vistage Chairman Tom Grogan recently launched a new small business group in Charlotte.
The group will meet monthly to discuss business issues, share expertise and provide one another confidential help to achieve their goals.
He previously served on the board at the Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson.
Aquesta Bank announces new location
CORNELIUS – Aquesta Bank has announced plans to open a second branch location in Cornelius, this time on the east side of town in the Food Lion Shopping Plaza.
It is scheduled for completion in spring 2014, pending approval.
The 1,888-square-foot branch will have teller stations as well as an Electronic Cash Recycler that assists tellers in providing fast, accurate cash transactions while freeing the staff to focus on relationships with their customers.

Consignment semi-annual sale returns
MOORESVILLE – Green Jeans Consignment is hosting a semi-annual sale this spring.
Green Jeans is accepting 300 consignors and encourages nonprofits to consider consigning as a fundraiser.
“There are so many nonprofits whose volunteers are made up of women,” co-owner Cindy Williams explained. “We encourage their volunteers to clean out their closets in support of their mission. We give an extra 5 percent to nonprofits and up to 80 percent back on their sales.”
Like past sales, Green Jeans will again host the charity pre-sale March 25. Teachers are invited to shop as VIPs during the half-price pre-sale March 27.
The semi-annual sale will be held 9 a.m.-8 p.m. March 26-29 at Merinos Home Furnishings, 500 S. Main St.
Jets Pizza opens second restaurant
MOORESVILLE – Jets Pizza will open at the end of January at 123-D Trade Court.
“I opened the first LKN Jets Pizza off Gilead Road in the Rosedale Shopping Center in 2010,” Jets owner Todd Martinez said. “We have a lot of folks driving regularly from Mooresville, many who are familiar with our brand.”
Jets Pizza is the 12th largest pizza chain in the United States by sales with more than 300 locations and growing.
