Nothing Bundt Cakes holds grand opening events

HUNTERSVILLE – Nothing Bundt Cakes, a cake bakery and gift shop, recently opened in Birkdale Village.

A ribbon cutting with the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce will be held at 8 a.m. Feb. 19.

Nothing Bundt Cakes will host Community Arts Project for mobile art projects 5-7 p.m. Feb. 21. Twenty percent of sales that day will benefit the nonprofit’s mission to put art within reach of all.

The grand opening of Nothing Bundt Cakes will be held at 9 a.m. Feb. 22. The first 50 customers will receive a punch card that’s eligible for one Bundtlet per month for one year.

The Community Arts Project will be at the bakery 10 a.m.-noon with art projects and a balloon artist for kids.

Mall hosts Charlotte Fashion Week

CONCORD – Concord Mills Mall recently announced its participation in Charlotte International Fashion Week on Feb. 13-15. 

As a special Fashion Week incentive, the first 100 shoppers to stop by Simon Guest Services in Neighborhood Four and show their event pass will receive a complimentary Concord Mills Coupon Book.

The book, which normally sells for $5, is valued at more than $500 in additional savings, with offers from 15 to 50 percent off stores. Stores are offering savings up to 70 percent off during fashion week.

Chamber accepts expo registration

DAVIDSON – The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce is registering exhibitors for its Business Expo.

The registration form is online but needs to be filled out and emailed, faxed or dropped off at the chamber with the payment. Booths cost $250 and $50 more if electricity is needed.

The expo will be held 11 a.m.-5 p.m. March 7 at the Baker Sports Complex at Davidson College, 200 Baker Drive.
