Open Mic Night at Kadi Fit
Bella Love features some of Lake Norman’s most creative artists in a unique, collective environment. With comedians, poets, visual artists and musicians, Bella Love’s Open Mic Night makes it easy to get connected to the heart of the local artistic community.

A Night in Monte Carlo
The North Mecklenburg Women’s Club hosts casino gaming, jazz entertainment, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar to benefit Purple Heart Homes, whose founder was recognized as a finalist for the 2013 CNN Heroes. Tickets cost $75. Black ties are optional.

Time Laps 24 Hr Relay Race
Six- and 12-member teams compete to collect the most points in a 24-hour relay race. The event includes bonfires, live music, food and beer. Participants can also buy a pass that allows them to enjoy other whitewater center activities, such as paddle boarding, rock climbing and zip lining.

Markers of Our Lives: A Community Mandala Project
Bryant Holsenback showcases her latest exhibit, “Makers of Our Lives,” which features a three-dimensional structure made out of recycled bottle caps. The exhibit remains on display through April 30.

Organ at Davidson
