Wexford House goes glam for camera

DENVER - Hair, makeup, costumes and a camera were all Wexford House residents needed to feel like glamorous movie stars.

The DePaul Senior Living Community was recently treated to pampering and a photo shoot.

Activities Director Tabatha Funderburk collected and bought fancy clothes and accessories for residents to wear.

Teresa Vickers, an artist from Lincolnton, and Wexford House beautician Missy Tripodi did residents’ hair and makeup.

“The residents were a little hesitant at first but once we showed them their first picture, they were impressed with the results,” Funderburk said. “Everyone had a blast!”
