Eight designers decorate rooms with donated household items in this fundraiser for Our Towns Habitat for Humanity. Tickets cost $25 and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine and an opportunity to shop from the rooms early.

The Stand Up for the Catawba Lake Norman SUP Race

Lake Norman’s first World Paddle Association-sanctioned race event starts after a pre-race meeting. Racing will be followed by a North Carolina-style luau featuring the Island Hula Girls. The event features limited paddleboard rentals and fitness demonstrations. Proceeds also benefit the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation.

Hello Huntersville

Huntersville’s annual arts and music festival features children’s activities, vendors, free art classes and a chalk drawing performance. Admission is free. The Huntersville Growers’ Market opens at 10 a.m., as well.

Spring Psychic Fair

Eight psychics from the Charlotte area – including, clairvoyants, astrologers, energy healers, mediums and channels – will offer 15-minute readings for $25. Vendors will sell jewelry, crystals and stones, artwork, scarves, healing serums and other metaphysical gifts. Treats and beverages will also be available.

North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival

The fourth annual festival blends more than 30 craft brewers with performances by Green Sky Bluegrass, Sol Driven Train, Big Daddy Love, Jessie Dee, Spirit Family Reunion and the John Stickley Trio.  The festival is a family event and has under-21 tickets available.

Taste of Art

The Community Arts Project hosts its seventh annual Taste of Art Event featuring hors d’oeuvres and a wine tasting with one-ounce pours of more than 30 different wines. The event includes a silent auction and raffle. Admission costs $30 in advance or $35 at the door.

‘Alice in Wonderland’

Activate Community Through Theatre presents “Alice in Wonderland.” During the play, children in the audience are asked to join the cast onstage to help the cook pepper the tarts and join in the Lobster Quadrille. Actors will lead pre-show activities for audiences who arrive 30 minutes before the show. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for children and seniors.
