Rural Hill Food Truck Rally
The rally will feature live music by Asheville bluegrass band Sanctum Sully, with North Carolina craft beer and wine available to buy. The event will include a children’s zone, corn hole, hayrides (fee applies), hiking, merchants, and living history experiences. Parking costs $5.

Queen's Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week
The Summer 2014 installment of Queen's Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week will run July 18-27, featuring 113 upscale restaurants across the Charlotte region. Restaurants will offer $30 prix fixe menus of three courses or more at dinner.

Civil War demonstrations

McEver Field Reunion
Celebrate more than 50 years of community baseball at the upcoming McEver Field Reunion.
The two-day event starts at 7 p.m. July 21 with a free admission to a homerun derby.
The brunt of the festivities will be held just prior to the Pony Baseball regional tournament on July 22.
Doors to McEver Field open at 4 p.m. with an all-you-can-eat hot dog and popcorn dinner at 6 p.m. A dedication ceremony will start at 7 p.m. with memorabilia on display and stories of half a century of baseball seasons just before the first pitch is thrown at 8:15 p.m. Tickets ocst $6 for those older than 6.
