HUNTERSVILLE – Green Jeans Consignment is accepting consignors for sales this fall in the Lake Norman and SouthPark areas.

The semi-annual sales feature new and gently worn brand name and designer clothing, shoes and accessories from petite to plus sizes, including maternity.

The sales attract up to 550 consignors and more than 3,000 shoppers each season. Consignors earn 65-75 percent back on every sale and receive private pre-sale shopping privileges.

“We cannot believe it’s been four years since we hosted our very first sale with 65 consignors in 1,500 square feet in Cornelius,” said Cindy Williams, co-owner of Green Jeans Consignment. “We’ve added a second location in SouthPark with over 250 consignors, more shopping days and charity pre-sales, and our non-profit partnership list keeps growing and growing. We love what we do for women in this community.”

The SouthPark sale takes place 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Sept. 17-20 at Queens Sports Complex, 2229 Tyvola Road, Charlotte. Most items are half price on Sept. 19-20.

The Lake Norman spans 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Oct. 22-24, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 25 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 26 at Merinos Home Furnishings, 500 S. Main St., Mooresville. Most items are half price Oct. 25-26.

Green Jeans Consignment suggests those looking for fundraisers take advantage of its Consign for Charity program. Participants receive an extra 5 percent of their sales.

Last spring, Corvian Community School in Charlotte participated, earning more than $700.

“I could not believe how much we raised, and I didn't lift a finger,” said Stacey Haskell, executive director at Corvian. “I love their passion and enthusiasm. Can't wait to work with Green Jeans again.”

Consignors vote and decide the charities receiving proceeds from pre-sales.

“Our consignors have become family over the years,” Williams said. “We encourage them to help us make impactful decisions, especially when it comes to giving back to our community.”

It also donates hundreds of items to partner charities including The Give Back Boutique, Lydia’s Loft/Ada Jenkins Center, Paw Brokers and Pregnancy Care Center of Lake Norman.
