Puppy Up! Walk Lake Norman 2014

On November 8th Puppy Up! Walk Lake Norman raised over $18,000 dollars to help in ridding the world of its deadliest disease - cancer in both humans and pets. The 2 mile walk was held in Jetton Park in Cornelius. In March 2008 Luke Robison walked 2000 miles from Austin to Boston to fulfill the promise he made to his dog, Malcolm, who died from this horrible disease. The 2 Million Dogs Foundation is committed to discover the common links between canine and human cancers and the causes of these cancers. Each walk educates people along the way - one dog, each mile at a time. (Photos courtesy of Amy Pennell)
